Generation Mining has finalized two offtake arrangements for the future sale of the copper concentrate produced at its Marathon palladium-copper project in Ontario. The first arrangement will see Glencore take 50% of all production from the mine, which is expected to then be processed in Quebec. The second arrangement is with an unnamed European integrated copper group that will purchase the balance of the concentrate produced. Generation’s Marathon project is expected to produce 87,000 tonnes annually of copper concentrate, with the company currently in the process of securing construction financing for its development.
