The Marshall JCM 900 100 Watt Hi Gain Dual Reverb has a bad reputation, but should it? Does it actually sound good? in short, YES! For my style and tone this thing sounds awesome and has plenty of gain. I'm of the opinion that if you can't dial in a good tone on a 100 watt valve amp then you might be doing something wrong. This amp won't be for everyone's style, but it can definitely sound massive for hard rock, metal, blues rock and so on....
