I have one key secret tool that I bet you have never heard of for scanning your 35mm negatives. I have completely transitioned over to my new scanning process. My initial scanning kit includes a Canon EOS R, a Sigma 105mm macros lens, and a few other goodies. I used to use the Epson v550 for everything, but now I have basically abandoned it.
