Oreo Cookie Cheesecake Recipe
Crust Ingredients:
• 25 crushed Oreo cookies
• 1 stick melted butter
• 9-inch springform pan
Oreo Cheesecake Filling:
• 24 oz softened Philadelphia cream cheese
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 3 large eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 3 tablespoons flour
• 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
• 22-24 crushed Oreo cookies
• Additional cookies for garnish
• Whipped cream
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
2. Prepare the Crust:
• Crush 25 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. You can use a food processor or place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
• Mix the crushed Oreos with the melted butter until well combined.
• Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the 9-inch springform pan, creating an even layer.
• Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
3. Make the Cheesecake Filling:
• In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
• Add the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well combined.
• Add the eggs one at a time, beating just until the mixture is smooth after each addition.
• Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and blend until fully incorporated.
• Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies.
4. Assemble the Cheesecake:
• Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
• Smooth the top with a spatula to ensure an even surface.
5. Bake the Cheesecake:
• Place the cheesecake in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is almost set but still slightly jiggly.
• Turn off the oven and crack the oven door open slightly. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.
• After an hour, remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.
• Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to set.
6. Garnish and Serve:
• Before serving, garnish the cheesecake with additional crushed Oreo cookies and whipped cream.
• Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan, slice, and enjoy your delicious Oreo Cookie Cheesecake!
