I am preparing famous traditional Bengali fish recipe Hilsa Fish Curry .This fish is generally prepared with mustard seed paste that is called shorshe Ilish which is very famous as well as popular fish Curry In Bengal.But today I'll be preparing this ilish maach or hilsa fish in different way.Today I will prepare this Hilsa fish in microwave woven and I'll add some poppy seeds along with mustard seeds.It will give a very nice and unique flavour and taste. So watch this step by step easy Shorshe Posto ilish recipe and try it at home in just 5 mins.I hope you will like and enjoy.
Ingredients:
1. Ilish mach / Hilsha fish (4 Pieces).
2. Shorshe / Mustard seeds paste (2 tbsp black mustard seeds).
3. Poppy seeds.(2 tbsp)
4. Turmeric powder (1 tsp).
5. Salt (as per your taste).
6. Mustard oil (4 tbsp).
7.green chilli (8 pieces).
Steps:
1. Make a paste of mustard seeds and poppy seeds along with 4 green chillies.
(need to soak poppy seeds for at least 1 hour before making a paste)
2.Marinade the fish with salt and turmeric powder and keep it aside for 20-30 mins.
3. Take a microwave safe container.
4. Put mustard seeds and green chillies paste.
5. Add half tsp turmeric powder, half tsp salt.
6. . Then add ½ cup of water. Mix it very well.
7. Put the fishes in the bowl.
8. Mix all the ingredients with Ilish Maach.
9. Then add 7-8 tbsp of mustard oil in it, also add 3-4 silted green chillies. Mix it well.
10.put the container in the microwoven for 2 mins.
11.Take out the container from the microwoven. (800 watt)
12. Flip over the pieces of the fish.
13.Again cook for another 2 mins in microwoven.
14. Serve hot Ilish Fish Bhapa with hot steamed rice.
