Solitaire Cash is a scam.
Here's a simple breakdown for you. I'm sure that you all have seen ads like this before and I have decided to do a deeper dive into whether this is a scam or not. And my short answer is that yes, completely a scam. These are my stats, so i can show not only was I grinding for hours, i would have to check in periodically becomes there's a cooldown in how many games you can play.
The most enticing offer looks to be the iPhone but it's one of those offers that's sounds too good to be true. But let's see what happens regardless. As we can see, the page and redirect does not work. We can try multiple times but we get the same empty offer.
If we investigate the more realistic offers of amazon gift cards, we can see that there's puzzle pieces with numbers associated. You need to get all the pieces in order to complete that challenge. As you can see, I have lots of duplicate pieces that aren't valid for their prize. This makes the Amazon Gift card a frustrating proposition to complete.
The app can be summed up as just trying to get you to watch as many ads as they can. They show ads after a lot of actions done on the app. Even the mundane things like going back from foreground, or seeing your stats, to even seeing the offers available for redemption. This creates a dreary app experience with little to no hope of payout despite hours sunk into the app.
Overall the game is pretty standard solitaire. The blue cards that are facedown are bonus cards that also give you a "scratch off" to get more prizes. These prizes are sparse and don't really give you much. To nobody's surprise, there's ads that accompany these blue cards to receive the worthless rewards.
