A quick overview of what to do if you check the oil and no oil is on the dip stick.


What to Do When No oil is On the Dip Stick:
1. Add oil immediately.
2. Oil type will be labeled on the oil cap.
3. Go to an automotive store and but buy the correct oil type.
4. Add it in one quart at a time until it is over the low oil marker, an ideally close to the high marker without going over.
5. Do not overfill the oil as it could also damage the engine.
