Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for March 20, 2024:
The sunny skies are looking great for Thursday. Unfortunately, the bright conditions come with the caveat of more frigid air. Skies will continue to clear through the evening with calmer winds. By daybreak, expect temperatures in the low 20s with wind chills in the low-teens. This will be the coldest start since the morning of February 29th. Brr. The frigid start will set up for a cold finish through the afternoon, with highs only reaching the mid-30s.
Thursday will be a cold day. Friday will bring milder temperatures but increasing clouds as we gear up for the next storm system. Scattered rain showers will arrive by the afternoon and continue through the evening. Cold air will wrap in behind this system after sunset on Friday. Temperatures will drop quickly, with a possibility of a quick burst of snow Friday night into Saturday.
We will dry out as we head into the weekend. Temperatures will remain cold on Saturday with some sunshine later in the day. There will be a slight recovery with seasonal temperatures on Sunday. If you're looking for true spring weather, Monday looks to be your day. A south breeze will send temperatures soaring into the 60s.
