Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia introduced the UT's seventh budget, saying that COVID vaccines would be available free of charge to residents of Delhi in government facilities.
The Delhi government has set aside Rs 50 crore for this purpose. 'Vaccination every day will be increased to 60,000 from 45,000 in the near future,' Manish Sisodia told the Assembly. Vaccination for people aged 60 and up, as well as those in the 45-59 age group with comorbidities, is currently taking place in Delhi at 192 hospitals, including 56 run by the Delhi government.
