The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is coming out soon, with a brand new game in the Mass Effect universe on the Horizon. With this news, we took the to opportunity to piece everything in the Mass Effect universe so far. From Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect Andromeda, this Mass Effect timeline contains everything that's happened in the Mass Effect story so far.

In this Mass Effect recap, IGN takes you on a journey through full Mass Effect story that dates back millions of years before the Reapers invaded the Milky Way Galaxy. Follow along as Commander Shepard takes on the galaxy to convince everyone of the impending Reaper threat that aims to wipe all all organic life.
