Jonathon Feit, Co-Founder & Chief Executive of Beyond Lucid Technologies, declared the role of this technology in achieving the company's moonshot objectives:

"There is so much stigma around addiction, but when you live in a crack house because you can't afford anything else, or you live in a county in California that burns every year, you lose hope and literally self-medicate the pain away; or you live on the streets of one of the wealthiest cities in the United States but you don't necessarily know how to find the people who care for you, you find a way to survive by putting things in your body that don't belong there.
"We have been at the forefront of the transition of emergency service to knowing what patients need before the crew arrives, and now to caring for folks who are addicted - who are chronic but also acute at the same time, who are in crisis and yet are seen over and over again."
