Let's see what we've got in today's gallery - it's the Take Hart theme! The UK's favourite piece of vibraphone music was originally used to accompany the gallery segment in the BBC art programme, Vision On (1964-1976), before becoming the main theme tune for its successor, Take Hart (1977-1983). The piece is called "Left Bank Two", composed by Wayne Hill and recorded by the Noveltones, a group of Dutch session musicians. It has since been used in a number of adverts for companies including Volkswagen, Castrol, and Waitrose.
