Actor/director/artist James Franco came to the Film Society of Lincoln Center to answer questions about his film "My Own Private River," a reworking of Gus van Sant's New Queer Cinema classic "My Own Private Idaho" focused on its late star River Phoenix. The film was accompanied by an art installation in the Furman Gallery called "Memories of Idaho," all part of the annual Film Comment Selects festival.
