Cooperation project of TRUMPF, SICK, Universal Robots and KPI: Automated laser marking of medical instruments.

The showcase demonstrates the laser marking of medical instruments in a modular system. It consists of a TruMicro Mark 2000 marking laser and a TruMark Station 7000 marking station from TRUMPF, part recognition using the PLOC2D robot guidance system from SICK, and a cobot from Universal Robots. A microScan3 safety laser scanner from SICK secures the system. The integration of the modules by KPI enables an automated machining process and shows the overall solution as the result of partnership cooperation.
