#Airbus' second largest, twinjet, the Airbus #A350 took off from #Farnborough Airport today on Day 3 of the Farnborough #Air #Show 2022.
The twin-jet, which is powered by two of the world's most powerful engines, the #RollsRoyce #TrentXWB, lurched into the sky immediately after takeoff showcasing its sleek design and state-of-the-art wings which together with new materials and engines in preparation for the events which takes place on Monday.
These new technologies introduced into the A350 result in significant cost savings compared offering a welcomed boost to airlines who are keen to maximise costs and stimulate growth following the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The Airbus A350 performed its display at Farnborough hot on the heels of The Boeing #737 MAX-10, which is also making its debut at the air show and is the largest of The Boeing 737 series of aircraft which also happens to be the most successful airliner for Boeing of all time, having racked up over thousands of orders.
The Farnborough Air Show opened to trade visitors on Monday 18 July and showcased the latest and greatest in global aviation technology, including airliners, new aviation innovations and military technologies. The show ends on Friday 22 July with a 'Pioneers of tomorrow' event.
