I originally intended to do this video during the month of October, but I ran out of time. There is a subtext this movie has that seems to go unnoticed quite frequently. Most of the time, people tend to focus on the grisly nature of John Doe's actions and, of course, the movie's ending (understandably so). What I'd like to draw attention to are some of John Doe's more subtle motivations. Once you understand them, I think the whole experience of watching this already excellent movie becomes a lot better.
