This week I set out on my first solo vanlife adventure. It may not seem like a big deal to some... but I'm 69 years old, newly widowed, sold my house, bought a 19' Airstream Interstate and am totally stepping out of my comfort zone to begin this new chapter of my life!

My plan is to take off early April for a three month journey to find out if full-time vanlife suits me and Tilly... which I won't know if I don't try it... right? So between now and April I will be taking short trips to work out the glitches with the van itself... because there have been a few like dead batteries and leaking drain pipes. These short outings will also give me the opportunity to become more comfortable with traveling by myself and caring for Missy Grace... all the rv things my husband always took care of before!

My apologies for some of the poor video... I'm such a newbie at all this... but eager to learn.
