Over many years of teaching, coaching, and mentoring, I have found that some form of the ‘Inner Critic’ affects us all at some time. It’s a human condition that has been learned through our human journey, but it’s not the truth about us, and what’s learned can be unlearned. That’s where the ‘taming’ comes in. Your inner critic has a valuable place in your mind, but you want them playing on your team, or at least in the supporters club, rather than showing up for the opposition.

In this four week course you will:

Gain an understanding of how the brain works, specifically in regard to releasing old habits and creating new ones.
Develop fresh awareness and insight regarding the healthy role of the critic, and an appreciation for where the critic got started from.
Learn why and how criticism affects us mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Master new habits of self-talk, and understand how to support that new dialogue with evidence.
Learn, practice, and embody five simple practices that will support you in taming your inner critic, and building a fresh perspective of yourself in the world.
Quieten the constant mental chatter and life narrative coming from the inner critic.
Improve self-esteem
Learn to reframe beliefs and perceptions about yourself and the world.
Take a moment to imagine your life without that constant chattering voice of doubt, fear, and criticism. Imagine silence inside your mind, and then imagine what you could achieve with a quiet mind, and a supporters club cheering you on from the inside out.
