ISports Clinic Poland treats complex diseases and injuries of organs of movement, with particular emphasis on sports injuries. The Clinic was established in 2002. They specialise in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery in particular: knee and shoulder reconstruction and repair procedures. By the end of 2011 the Clinic had performed approx. 8 000 anterior cruciate ligaments arthroscopic reconstruction procedures. Sports Clinic Poland, considered one of the leading medical centres in poland that deal with this type of procedures. The Clinic has also performed about 1500 shoulder arthroscopic reconstruction procedures.

The clinic performs surgical procedures reimbursed by the Polish National Health Fund, as well as paid procedure. They offer 40 patient beds. Sports Clinic Poland, cooperate with the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, and other Polish and foreign scientific institutions. Such cooperation enables the clinic to implement state of the art medical devices, surgical techniques, and pharmaceuticals.

Sports Clinic Poland, was one of the first in Poland, which developed the use of allogeneic transplantation in multi-ligament joint injuries. In 2004, they were the first in the country to arthroscopicaly transplant cartilage cell cultures using solid substrates. In 2010, they carried out the first Polish operation of allogeneic transplantation of the knee meniscus, which was prepared and developed in Poland.

The Sports Clinic uses only the latest achievements in the field of safe anaesthesia, using electrical stimulation and ultrasound techniques. Patients are guaranteed the highest safety and comfort during the treatment. In cooperation with the Polish Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, they were the first medical centre in Silesia which began organising training workshops in the field of regional anaesthesia.

In 2005 the clinic received Polish Ministry of Health accreditation allowing them offer specialisation and internships in orthopaedics and traumatology of the locomotor system. As an organisation registered in the Register of Postgraduate Medical Education, they organise medical training for orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthesiologists, family doctors, rheumatologists, and paediatricians. They train doctors both from Poland and from Central and Eastern Europe.

With more than 10 years' experience on Polish market, wide range of orthopedic surgeries combined with fully rehabilitation provided on place, the highest standard of security (proven by epidemiological statistics), painless treatment by using ultrasound supported methods of anesthesia, luxury rooms, low prices - are arguments which make us interesting and competitive alternative. Double bundle ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff reconstruction, transplantations of meniscus and cartilage in knee joint ,suturing the meniscus, high tibia osteotomy, mini invasive unicondylar knee arthroplasty or endoscopy procedures on spine are the most frequently performed surgeries in Sport-Klinika. The clinic specializes in sport medicine and endoscopy orthopedic procedures, but we also offer top level of joint replacement procedures in hip and knee arthroplasty. They are using the newest, clinically proven technologies from Smith and Nephew company - the Visionaire and Verilast.
