We will always fondly remember the days when Thandi and Tlalamba were attached at the hip. One a year ago, the two were still inseparable with Tlalamba still falling into a tender cub age. David Githu caught mother and daughter hanging out on a dead tree this time last year, each showing their age through their energy levels! Mom Thandi was (trying) to nap off a sizeable meal but Tlalamba was not having any of it and continued with her playful shenanigans making Thandi's tail into her playmate. Typically, leopards have siblings to grow up and play with but often enough, the litter size will be reduced as young cubs have a high mortality rate in the wild (which is what we suspect happened in Tlalamba's litter).
