The man, struggling to read the newspaper, turns to the priest and asks, "Do you know what arthritis is?"

Satisfied with the priest's explanation, the drunk continues reading the newspaper.

Curious, the priest later inquires, "How long have you been suffering from arthritis?"

To which the drunk replies,

"Oh, I don't have arthritis. In the paper is says that the Pope does."
