up (this was after I had given up on my dreams of being a singer because I can't sing...)
As it turns out, I still am one...just not in the way I expected. As a pharmacist, I get to precept students and residents. I get to teach medical residents and other health care providers as well as patients. There are so many opportunities to share my knowledge with others which is awesome!
Now, if teaching isn't for you, not to worry. These things aren't required for every job in pharmacy, but as someone who loves to learn and then share what I learn with others, many of the roles within pharmacy checked this box for me!
