Recently I had a problem with my Canon G3010 Printer. Always shows the Orange light even though I didn't Switch on the printer. The seller said, to send me a photo of the invoice. I will raise a complaint. The next day I just did this method, and it's worked fine now.
If this method doesn't work on your printer, Change the printer cable and try. If still continue, then you need to call a technician only.
Note: Switch on the printer if you need to use it. Otherwise, just switch off it (not a printer, Main Power cable).
