Mahadev Saha (born 5 August 1944) is one of the leading poets of post-independence Bangladesh.
Mahadev Saha was born on 5 August 1944 at his ancestral home in Dhanghara village of Pabna district. His father's name was Bagdadhar Saha and his mother was Birajmohini. He has published 93 books. Mahadev Saha has won numerous awards for his poetic talent. He won the Bangla Academy Award for Poetry in 1983 and the Ekushey Padak in 2001. Other awards and honors include the Alaol Sahitya Puraskar in 1995, the Bogra Lekhak Chakra Puraskar in 1996, the Khaleddad Chowdhury Memorial Puraskar in 2002 and the Jatiya Kabita Parishad Puraskar in 2006.
