The fireworks show will last for 8 minutes, with a very eye-catching water show. There’s also a Japanese color-changing light beam effect. We will not have too many restrictions on the event. This year we are not limiting the number of people.
Aside from fireworks, there will also be performances featuring Taiwanese musicians such as Atom Boyz, Faye, All in 5, Ezu Huang, DJ Mr. Skin, and icyball. There will also be food trucks and stalls to promote the nearby business district.
Huang Shan-shan
Taipei deputy mayor
This year, we hope that everyone can keep COVID guidelines in mind. In fact, people can go out and come here. This time around, the event will be very special, as it is in reality a series of events. We hope that everyone can go to the business districts nearby and revitalize them.
The 2022 Dadaocheng Chinese Valentine’s Festival will be held at the Yanping Riverside Park on July 30 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
