One night before Jiang Yi-huah offered his olive branch, the premier was questioned by prosecutors. Jiang is a witness with President Ma Ying-jeou in a case involving alleged leaks by Prosecutor-General Huang Shyh-ming. Prosecutors suspect that Huang illegally disclosed information about an investigation into the legislative speaker, and in the process sparked last month's political fallout. Yesterday evening President Ma Ying-jeou became the second sitting president to be questioned by prosecutors.
