Ibrahim Nehme is a creator, curator, and speaker based in Beirut. His work is a cross-pollination between journalism, activism, and artistic expression. In 2012, he founded The Outpost magazine with the intention of imagining a new narrative on and from the Arab region. The magazine was called "a reminder of the power of the imagination to shift perspectives" by The Guardian and won the Subscribers' Choice Award at the Stack Awards 2015 and Magazine of the Year at the Magpile Awards in 2014. On Monday 11 May, Ibrahim dropped by @uniundergrd to talk with the researchers and students about podcasts, Arab futurism and the politics of the dancefloor - and now a section of his talk is available online for you to enjoy. Many thanks to you @brhmnhm for joining us to share your expertise and provocations; find more of Ibrahim's work at @magofpossibilities!
