Less than one year of studying Horticulture at Ingram State Technical College led to Anthony Thomas owning his own landscaping business with more than 100 clients, including some government contracts. Anthony studied at Ingram State while he was incarcerated in the Alabama Department of Corrections. The ability to obtain a good education and meaningful employment potentially decreases the likelihood of recidivism.
