Kochi: It was the inaction from the part of police that led to the death of two persons, that of Vasudevan and Sreejith, in Varapuzha. Before their house was attacked, Vasudevan's mother and his brother had gone to Varapuzha station and sought police protection. But, the police had sent them back asking them to give in writing the names and addresses of the accused.
