In this video, Susi shows you how to do reverse Maya or reverse vertical hip figure 8. To do a reverse Maya, bring the hip down, then slide the hip out, then lift the hip up and finally come back to neutral. Practice the reverse Maya for each hip. Put them together to achieve a full reverse vertical figure 8. This time, you don't need to come back to neutral, because when one hip is up, the other hip is already down and you can simply continue the reverse Maya.
Keeping the heel on the floor when lifting the hip (as Susi does), makes the reverse Maya more muscular, while lifting the heel off the floor makes the reverse Maya bigger.
