In this video, we will see step by step method how to make Hyderabadi Chicken 65 Biryani. This recipe is the same for Hyderabadi Chicken 65 recipe or Andhra style Chicken 65.
Step 1 : Chicken 65 Marinade:
Ingredients-
Chicken Boneless -750 gms
Ginger Garlic Paste _ 2 tbsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Dhaiya Jeera Powder - 1 tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
a. Mix all the above ingredients and add the following to the mixure.
b. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp, corn flour - 1 tbsp, maida - 1 tbsp, Egg - 1
c. Mix well and keep it for 30 mins before frying.
Step 2: Fry chicken and keep it aside.
Step 3: Chicken 65 Masala
a. Add 4 red chilies and 4 green chilies in oil and saute.
b. Add curry leaves
c. Add 1 tbsp ginger garlic chopped and saute
d. Add 4 tbsp schezwan sauce and mix well
e. Add fried chicken and mix well until all chicken pieces are coated with sauce.
f. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
g. Andhra chicken 65 / Hyderabadi chicken 65 is ready !!!
Step 4 : Prepare Biryani Rice.
a. Soak 4 cups of basmati rice for 20 mins
b. Boil water and add whole spices.
c. Add soaked rice and cook until its 90% done
d. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp oil and salt.
e. Strain the rice and keep aside.
Step 5: Preparing fried onions.
a. Take 2 onions (sliced) and fry in oil
b. keep it aside.
Step 6: Preparing biryani masala
a. Take 2 onions sliced and saute
b. Add whole spices
c. Add 3 green chillies, 1 tomato chopped and saute
d. Add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
e. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp dhaniya jeera powder, 1 tsp biryani masala powder, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder
f. mix well
g. Add 1 cup curd and let it cook.
h. Add 75% of chicken 65 and coat it well in the mixture. Rest of the chicken will be used for layering the biryani.
Step 7: Layer the biryani
Step 8: close the lid and cook for 15 mins on low flame and let it rest for 30 mins after that.
Chicken 65 Biryani is ready !!!
