India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi is widely favoured to secure a third term, as the world's most populous nation goes to the polls starting on April 19th.
But critics argue he's enhanced his popularity by promoting Hindu nationalism at the expense of minority communities.
And opposition politicians say he's misused tax and other government agencies to unfairly target them.
