A multi-county police chase involving several luxury cars ended in a crash, with one person arrested on Sunday, Feb. 18.
According to West Allis Police, at around 6:30 a.m., the West Allis dispatch center received a call regarding several luxury-style vehicles in the lot of a business located in the area of S. 108th St. and Theo Trecker.
In total, nine luxury vehicles were stolen from a Land Rover dealership in Waukesha.
Officers told us they found the vehicles, which then fled at high speeds south on I-894, and onto southbound I-94.
Radio traffic from officers involved say the driver topped out at about 115 miles per hour, all while missing a tire from the back left of the vehicle.
The chase went on for about a half hour, with eight of the vehicles initially escaping capture. But police took one driver into custody when he crashed with an uninvolved vehicle on I-94 near Pleasant Prairie.
The driver of the stolen vehicle, a 17-year-old male from Chicago, was taken into custody. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
