Freeze drying and rehydrating some frozen salmon fillets and burger patties from Costco.
Finally making a video from footage made 16 months ago. Sorry about the quality. (or lack of)
Doing two small tests of freeze drying salmon fillets and salmon burger patties.
We did the raw test first, and the patties worked well, but the fillets were a failure.
With the cooked salmon, both the patties and the fillet worked great.
The raw patties held together better than the cooked patties but they both worked well.
Freeze dried food will stay fresh for many years and be ready and waiting when you need it.
