Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, will meet with Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) leaders on Thursday to address the ongoing party crisis. This follows his recent call for peace after the NLC National Transition Committee took over the LP headquarters. Led by former NLC President Abdulwaheed Omar, the committee demanded the resignation of Julius Abure as National Chairman. Obi's intervention aims to reconcile Abure and the Lamidi Apapa faction for the party's greater good.
