Ronnie Reno produced a bluegrass album for Merle Haggard, and on his program shared a video of this song being recorded. It was telecast in SD, and I pumped it up to BD level (4.1) trying to preserve the source quality, which explains the big black border. I could have trimmed away the borders and made the picture 1920x1080, but the quality would have been atrocious. The song is track 8 on Merle Haggard's 2007 CD "The Bluegrass Sessions." Ronnie tagged the end with Merle's birth and death dates (his editor erred - it should read April 6 instead of 16); even more interesting than the fact that only the years are different, is the fact shared by Merle's son that Merle told him a week before that he would die on his birthday.
