Sacred Island or Yeronisos in Pafos, Cyprus. An earthquake seems to have devastated the Island of Geronissos during the late 1st century B.C./early 1st century A.D. It preserves one of the most significant Ptolemaic sites outside of Egypt.
Drinking cups, bowls, juglets, lagynoi and plates in Eastern sigillata A, Cypriot Sigillata, and local Pink Powdery Ware have been unearthed within small rooms where ritual dining appears to have taken place during the final years of Ptolemaic Egyptian rule on Cyprus.
