Pre-packaged day trip in Norheimsund & Øystese with focus on local food and drinks, cultural history, waterfalls, and the Hardangerfjord itself 🇳🇴

In Norheimsund and Øystese, just over an hour from Bergen by bus and car, proud Hardanger traditions unite with some of the most beautiful nature Norway offers. Several well-known companies have joined forces this summer and created a pre-packaged day program. This means you get to see, taste, and experience the best of several worlds on the same day - and this in an effortless way!

The day trip, located in and around the stunning fjord villages of Norheimsund and Øystese, includes the following:

Cider tasting and lunch at the award-winning Spildegarden

Guided tour of Hardanger Akvasenter (Aquaculture) and Hardanger Maritime Centre (wooden boat building and maritime museum)

Guided RIB trip with Hardangerfjord Adventure on the Hardangerfjord to the spectacular fjord arm Fyksesund (only accessible by boat)

Sightseeing at Steinsdalsfossen - one of the most spectacular waterfalls in all of Norway.

Transport to and from the various activities and attractions.

The program extends over 6 hours 15 minutes and is available Monday to Saturday until 13.08.

You can join the trip both from Hardangerfjord Hotel in Øystese, Thon Hotel Sandven in Norheimsund, or via bus 925 from Bergen to Norheimsund. The day program is tailored to correspond by bus to and from Bergen.
