Our Year of Full Restoration
The Ven. Kiri Wakama (vicar)
Day 12 of 21 Days Prayer and Fasting || My Year of FULL RESTORATION
VICAR’S CORNER
Our Year of Full Restoration
2024, our year of Full Restoration is here, and our 21 days Prayer and fasting to bath it is on. Are you part of it? Be part of it!
We have spoken to the Gates of 2024 to open to us, uprooting Strange Gatekeepers and invincible Barriers that might want to be a hindrance, and with the King of Glory, we have entered. (Ps. 24)
We are to write our Goals and Expectations of 2024, and begin to Prophetically set up machinery for their manifestation, cancelling every appointment with Shame and Calamity and Setting up Appointments of Favor and First fruit Altars that will activate the covenant of 2024. On the Grand Finale, at our Feast of Celebration on the 28th of January, we shall bring forth our requests for Episcopal endorsement and agreement.
Make sure you are part of the program, Physical or Virtual, and be a partaker of the Fast. Children till 12 noon, adults to 3.00pm and 6.00pm? You can still join. That’s the way you can be assured of full restoration
In Isiah 58: 6 – 11, the Bible lays guidelines as to how a ‘Fast’ should be administered.
• Forgive all who have offended you
• Make sure you pray, failing which you are only on hunger strike.
• Share your food, the fast part with the hungry.
As Christians, we fast when we need God to move in a situation we are facing. When you fast and pray it will humble your soul so you can hear from God (Psalm 35: 13).
Ezra was leading Jews back to Jerusalem. He told the King of Persia that they would need no help (Ezra 8: 22)”. But he needed help but he had made a bold statement and needed God to answer. So, he called for a ‘fast. When the people PRAYED and FASTED the answer came quickly. Just like Ezra we need answers quickly from God!
Fasting is a great way to improve your health. It may be stressful at first, but remember that the body is originally designed to fast; we do it every night, when we sleep.
Fasting is recommended before surgery. "You don't want the body to be digesting food as it manages the slower breathing and other body changes under anesthesia,” Fasting is also required to get accurate readings for certain medical tests - cholesterol and blood sugar levels etc., and it gives the digestive system time to rest, potentially leading to reduced or cured digestive disorders, and a stronger digestive system.
Join the fast and receive full restoration in the name of Jesus, and may this year be your best so far in Jesus name.
Your Vicar, Brother and Friend.
