In der «Gummelstube» im Seedamm Plaza dreht sich alles um den Kartoffelstock. Also nichts wie hin und erleben, wie hier der «Gummelistunggis» zelebriert wird.
Kartoffeln als Beilage zu Fleisch, Fisch oder auf einem Gemüseteller geht immer! Herr und Frau Schweizer mögen Erdäpfel – ob gebraten oder gebacken, als «Gschwellti», «Röschti», Pommes oder auch als «Gummelistunggis».
Obwohl ich den Erdapfel über alles Liebe, ist er für mich doch eher der Nebendarsteller auf dem Teller. Nicht so in der «Gummelstube» im Hotel Seedamm Plaza in Pfäffikon. Da ist die Kartoffel nicht nur Statistin, sondern sie spielt die Hauptrolle und wird zum Star hochstilisiert!
«Gummelstube» im Seedamm Plaza in Pfäffikon
In den ehemaligen Räumlichkeiten des Restaurants PUR im Seedamm Plaza findet man jetzt das Pop-Up Restaurant «Gummelstube». Hier dreht sich alles um die knorrige Knolle oder eben den «Gummel».
Dieser wird hier als frisch gemachter Kartoffelstock (auch Püree, Stampf, Brei oder Mus genannt) zelebiert. Sieben Variationen aus verschiedenen Kartoffelsorten stehen im Mittelpunkt. «Gummelistunggis» mit brauner Alpbutter und Rahm, mit Altendorfer Bergkäse, mit Muotathaler Bauernspeck, mit frischen Kräutern, Randen, Safran oder blauen St. Galler Kartoffeln.
