Simple fix for common intermittent A/C issue on Subaru Forester. My car is a 2015, however this applies to several years and models.
The center bolt is removed with a 10mm socket.
The correct clearance is between .3 and .6 mm. Anything over .6 can cause slippage and the compressor with stop. Under .3 can lead to clutch failure.
