Studio style product photos are easy to achieve with the right steps. You might need professional looking product photography for selling crafts on Etsy, starting your eBay career, or starting out as a commercial photographer. While not everyone likes the white background look for Ecommerse photography, it is certainly the fastest way to catalogue a lot of products consistently.
In this beginners product photography tutorial, Ben takes a look at lighting techniques for shooting small products (jewellery, crafts, collectables... used shotgun shells).
We take a look at some tips and tricks for getting through your product photography at home, quickly and easily with minimal equipment. You will need some lighting, a backdrop and a camera. You can easily use anything from an iPhone to a DSLR, as long as it has manual controls.
