Man, London Roundhouse, May 24th 1975.
From the Trevor L. Hughes Archive.
Recorded on the first night of Man's three-night stint at the London Roundhouse between 24 and 26 May 1975. Billed as the "West Coast Weekend", these sold-out concerts were the culmination of Man's 1975 UK tour and featured John Cipollina (Quicksilver Messenger Service, amongst others), who'd been invited to guest on Man's UK tour after meeting and playing with them on their US tour earlier in the year.
From the Manband Archive ([ Ссылка ]):
"John Cipollina arrived from San Francisco and rehearsed for a week with the Man Band. Then the British tour started at the Kursall in Southend with a Band Called 'O'. This turned out to be the best ever tour for the Band with nearly every gig sold out. Perhaps the highlight of the tour was the three day long 'West Cost Weekend' at the London Roundhouse which had a bill of Man with John Cipollina, A Band Called 'O', Barry Melton, Flying Aces and the Heroes. We had the 'Silly Things' stall there as well selling t-shirts, posters and albums of the Bands. The whole 3 days were sold out and just as a little extra, free badges were handed out at the door. if you didn't make any of the gigs, Man's set with John Cipollina was recorded and is due out in the form of a live album later this year, entitled 'MAXIMUM DARKNESS'."
