Today I talk about the Black Ice Audio FX10H Integrated amplifier. This amp is small and runs EL84 tubes that put out a total of only 12 watts per channel. With that said, this amp is high current so it can drive almost any speaker in a small to medium sized room.
This amp has just been improved by Black Ice audio and now features less noise, a metal remote, less heat and the circuit has been tweaked some as well. This also has a fantastic headphone amplifier that I used to drive my Verum II's to lovely levels.
This HiFi Audio amp has a rich sound, a tube sound rather than a dry modern day uber detailed sound. This amp SOUNDS LIKE TUBES and this is a good thing.
Easily gets a huge recommendation from me as I feel it is the biggest no brainer in the history of HiFi Audio. This amp proves big money is not needed to enjoy organic, velvet like tube sound.
