This video details the install or retrofit of a Voron 2.4 core-xy printer to canbus via the BigTreeTech EBB36 and the Waveshare RS485 Canbus Hat ( can bus ) for the Raspberry Pi 4. It covers installing Klipper onto the EBB36 card, mounting, cables, umbilical and reconfiguration of the printer.cfg files. This should mostly apply to the EBB42 and some is applicable to the fly sht 36, fly sht 42, Huvud, turbocan and canable can bus controllers.
Special note:
When making the video, I failed to record terminating the EBB36. For reliable communications on the canbus, please make sure you terminate the EBB36 with the jumper.
A Raspberry PI 4 or CM 4 are highly recommended. People have reported communication issues with the Raspberry PI 3. Devices more powerful than a Raspberry PI 4 are probably fine as well.
