Now that I have a full pottery studio at home, I can make and fire a piece in a week or less. It's very exciting! Here I make a teapot and you can watch the process from start to finish (although I skipped over wedging and centering the clay). I demonstrate the steps, from wheel-throwing the base, lid, and spout, pulling the handle, trimming the base, assembling the pieces, painting, and firing. It's been many years since I made a teapot, but this came back to me so quickly, I think I'll be making some more very soon!
