Here's a rather scarce bird not often found! This model was licensed by RCA & made for & sold by Western Auto in the 50's. It's a combo dark blue/cream colored scheme that's actually kind of attractive. Unfortunately, this case has the usual battle scars normally found on these old suitcase type players. It's been recapped & still has the original Western Auto tubes in it! The changer is the iconic RCA RP-190 so often seen in the 50's. I wished they put the TRUETONE logo on the changer as they did on the face of the player but this is the way it was originally sold.
There were a LOT of licensed RCA players made by various manufacturers in the 50's & I'm constantly searching them out. I hope you've enjoyed seeing another wonderful piece of 50's history here!
