Delicious and easy to cook red lentil vegetarian soup.
Ingredients:
- 250-300 g dried red lentils (washed)
- 2 potatoes (diced)
- 1000 ml water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil and 50 g butter
- 1 yellow onion (diced)
- 1 carrot (grated)
- 1 tomato (diced)
- 4 garlic cloves (chopped)
Spices:
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 small pinch sugar
- 1 pinch pepper powder
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp dry mint
- 1 tsp thyme or rosemary or savory
- 1 lemon
Cooking 30-40 minutes. Recipe for 4 servings.
