Around 4:00 pm local time, a tower crane collapsed as strong winds swept through Funing in east China’s Jiangsu Province. Video captured by a pedestrian shows the moment the tower crane suddenly collapsed. Trees were blown down, while household waste and plastic bags were blown in the air.
Billboards were ripped up and at least two people were killed, and 22 others were injured in high winds in Funing county. Many places in Jiangsu Province have experienced strong winds and according to the local meteorological observatory’s latest news, force eight winds will hit most areas of Jiangsu Province within the next 24 hours.
