This DIY power supply project can be used in different electronics projects as a variable DC power source. You can also monitor the output voltage on the digital voltmeter.
components required to build lm317 power supply:
1. LM317 IC with heat sink 1no [ Ссылка ]
2. 10 uF Capacitor 1no
3. 1000 uF Capacitors 2no
4. 0.1uF Capacitors 2no
5. 1k resistor 1no
6. 240-ohm resistor 1no
7. 5k potentiometer 1no
8. 1N4007 Diodes 6no
9. LED 1no

12. Connectors
As lm317 is a linear voltage regulator so it is not so efficient but the circuit is very simple. so it is widely used in different applications like adjustable DC power supply, fan speed controller, LED dimmer etc.
